Space on all of our adventures is limited - to accommodate all who wish to participate, the following is San Francisco Kayak & Adventures cancellation & refund policy:

 

You must cancel, or re-schedule, a minimum of 5 days prior to the date of your trip; a $35 per person processing fee will be charged to reschedule, a $50 per person cancellation fee will be charged for refund, otherwise a full credit will be provided for future use. No refund or credit will be given if your trip is canceled or re-scheduled after the 5-day cancellation/rescheduling period. Any remaining trip balances owed (after deposit*) must be remitted 5 days prior to trip date. A No-Show is a forfeiture.

 

San Francisco Kayak & Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip due to: weather**, inadequate sign-up (minimum of 8 required) or any unforeseen problem that would make the trip unsafe or nonviable. In such cases, clients will receive a credit towards a future trip**. Our credit liability extends solely to the cost of the adventure trip and not to any travel and accommodation related expenses.

 

Safety Requirements dictate that we review important safety instruction prior to kayaking - All members MUST arrive on-time to participate in this mandatory instruction. We provide a 10-minute grace - Parties arriving after this 10 minutes grace will not be permitted to kayak and will forfeit their trip.

 

**Details about weather cancellations: The weather in the Bay Area can shift dramatically within a few hours and weather forecasting is often not accurate. The industry standard for weather cancellations is to wait until the day of the trip. San Francisco Kayak and Adventures will make every effort to contact you within a two-hour window prior to your scheduled tour if the weather dictates a cancellation, and within 12-24 hours if low participation dictates cancellation.

 

**Holders of coupons, vouchers, gift certificates etc., have until the date of their expiration unless otherwise extended by San Francisco Kayak & Adventures management.
